Custom Design & Rush Production Policy

Updated: September 16, 2026

This policy explains the design-preview, revision, production-time, and optional rush-production terms that apply to Wallaesthetic custom LED neon signs and custom line-art mirrors.

1. Payment, Free Quotes & Included Design Proofs

Standard 40 cm and 50 cm custom orders: upload your reference, choose your options, and pay in full at checkout. We then prepare your digital design proof. Your order includes:

  • One initial design preview based on the reference material and instructions supplied with the order; and
  • Two rounds of minor design revisions before the final design is approved, at no extra charge.

Customers should review each preview carefully and submit all requested changes for that revision together. Multiple messages concerning the same preview may be combined and treated as one revision.

Custom sizes or complex projects: request a free quote first. We review feasibility, pricing, and the initial design direction with no payment collected for the inquiry. If you proceed, pay the agreed price in full before we prepare your digital design proof; the same two minor revision rounds are included. A free inquiry is not a finished production drawing or an unlimited design service.

The live text preview on a product page is an approximate illustration, not your final design proof. A designer checks the artwork, dimensions, spacing, and production feasibility before asking for your approval.

1A. LED Neon Power & Package Inclusions

40 cm and 50 cm LED neon signs: these versions use a USB power interface. A power adapter and mounting screws/nails are not included. Use a compatible USB power source that meets the requirements supplied with your sign. Mounting holes or installation screws shown in a display image do not mean screws are included in the package.

Custom sizes: we confirm the power requirements and supplied components during the quotation stage. If the custom-size design requires a power adapter to operate, a suitable adapter is included with the order. This does not mean every custom-size sign includes an adapter. Other package contents follow the product listing and your confirmed quotation.

2. What Counts as a Revision

A minor revision keeps the same photo, subject, and design direction. It may include spelling changes, choosing another available font or color, moving text, modest layout adjustments, or simplifying line work. Please send the requested changes for each proof together.

Changing the reference image, subject, requested shape, overall composition, or design direction—or requesting a substantially new design—is not considered a revision. Such work may require a separate quote and additional production time.

Corrections to our mistakes and changes needed for safe production do not use your included revision rounds and are not charged as additional revisions.

3. Additional Minor Revisions — $10 per Round

After the two included rounds, additional minor revisions are $10 per round, subject to availability. We will confirm the scope, price, and any schedule changes and obtain your agreement before carrying out paid extra work. There is no need to pre-purchase revisions at checkout. Sending a change request does not authorize an automatic charge. A substantial redesign is quoted separately.

4. Design Approval

Production begins only after full payment, receipt of all required photographs, artwork, measurements, and instructions, and the customer’s explicit approval of the final design proof. Please check the spelling, layout, colors, size, and production details. Silence or failure to reply is not approval; we do not skip the proof for custom products.

Design-proof preparation, revisions, and time waiting for customer information or approval are separate from the production estimate. After approval, further changes may not be possible. If a requested change can be made, we will explain and agree any additional charge and revised timetable before proceeding; a change request does not authorize an automatic charge or a silent reset of the schedule.

5. Standard Custom Production Time

The estimated standard production time for a custom product is 7–10 business days, starting on the next business day after full payment, receipt of all required information, and explicit final-design approval. It covers material preparation, manufacturing, quality inspection, packaging, and handover to the carrier. Creating a shipping label alone is not carrier handover. Design-proof preparation and revisions are not included in these 7–10 business days.

6. Rush Production — $25

When available for an eligible custom product, rush production costs an additional $25 and reduces the estimated production time to 5–7 business days, starting on the next business day after full payment, receipt of all required information, and explicit final-design approval. We will confirm rush availability and the applicable carrier-handover window.

Rush production covers manufacturing, inspection, packaging, and carrier handover. It does not include design communication or customer approval, does not provide expedited transportation, and does not guarantee arrival by an event date. Estimated shipping time to the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states and Washington, D.C.) remains 7–12 business days after carrier handover. Alaska and Hawaii are available via postal service with a separately confirmed estimate; the 7–12-business-day estimate does not apply. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or military/diplomatic postal addresses, including APO, FPO, and DPO. Please consult our Shipping Policy and contact us before ordering for a time-sensitive event or an Alaska/Hawaii delivery.

Rush availability depends on design complexity, materials, current capacity, and seasonal demand. If rush production cannot be provided, we will refund the $25 fee and explain the standard-production timetable. If a delay on our side prevents carrier handover within the agreed rush-production window, we will proactively refund the $25 rush-production fee. Carrier transit delays after timely handover do not by themselves mean the rush-production service was missed; delivery problems will still be handled under our Shipping Policy.

If incomplete information or a customer-requested change affects the timetable, we will explain the impact and agree a revised window before proceeding. Refunding the rush fee does not cancel the order unless you separately request an eligible cancellation, and it does not replace other applicable delayed-shipment, cancellation, or quality remedies.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

A custom order may be cancelled for a full refund before actual physical production starts, including after proof approval if manufacturing has not begun. The refund includes amounts paid for the cancelled order, including shipping, rush-production, and design-revision fees; we do not deduct a design or cancellation fee.

Actual physical production means work on your custom item, such as acrylic cutting or printing, cutting LED channels, or fitting the LED strip. Design work, proof preparation or revisions, general material preparation, and time in the queue do not count. We record the start of physical production and will explain the status when handling a cancellation request. After physical production starts, change-of-mind cancellations and returns are not accepted; valid damaged, defective, incorrect-item, approved-design accuracy, and delayed-shipment remedies remain available.

For the complete cancellation, return, damage-reporting, and refund terms, please review our Refund and Returns Policy.

LED neon signs carry a 12-month limited warranty from delivery for covered defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, including any controller or power adapter actually supplied by Wallaesthetic with the order. USB-powered 40 cm and 50 cm versions do not include an adapter; a required adapter is included for an applicable custom-size order as confirmed in the quotation. See the full LED Neon Sign Limited Warranty for coverage, exclusions, and how to request service. This specific warranty does not apply to acrylic mirrors.

8. Estimated Times

Production and delivery timeframes are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. Design complexity, material availability, customer-requested changes, public holidays, or carrier disruptions may affect the schedule. We will explain material changes. If we cannot hand an order to the carrier within the promised shipment window, we will provide a revised estimate and offer the choice to accept the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a full refund, including for custom products already in production. We will obtain consent and provide refunds as required by applicable law. A delay on our side in preparing a proof is not treated as missing customer approval.
